DMV Practice Tests
This policy explains the limited data used to run state selection and practice-test features.
On the home page, the site may request a coarse IP-based state lookup from ipapi.co so the state selector can start near the visitor's location. Users can change the selected state at any time.
The selected state and lookup timestamp may be stored in the browser's localStorage so the site does not need to repeat the lookup on every visit.
Practice answers and scores are calculated in the browser for the current session. The static site does not require an account and does not collect driver license numbers, legal identity documents, or payment details.
If analytics, advertising, or additional services are added later, this policy should be updated before those services are enabled.
The IP lookup provider receives the network request needed to estimate state location. Hosting providers may process standard server logs to deliver the site and protect the service.
Users who do not want automatic state detection can choose a state manually; the practice tests remain available.
